Dr. Ian Craig is Lecturer in Spanish at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies, Barbados. He received his doctorate in Hispanic Studies from the University of London and researches and publishes in the areas of translation and Latin American film. He is the author of the monograph Children’s Classics under Franco: Censorship of the ‘William’ Books and ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer’ (Oxford, Bern, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, New York, Wien: Peter Lang, 2001). Jairo Sánchez is Foreign Language Instructor at the St. Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at the State University of Zanzibar and previously worked at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies, Barbados, as well as at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where he received his Post-Graduate Specialization in Translation and his BA in Philology and Languages. At the moment he is working on his PhD dissertation on Caribbean Literature and Translation. His research interests include Translation, Literature and Language Teaching.
